Intervention1: Pirali ennai: should be administered orally 4 to 5 ml thrice a day for a time period of three days with the adjuvant of chittirapaalaadai,jeeragam and adhimaduram. Control Intervention1

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.loose stools with mucus or blood 2.abdominal pain 3.nausea and vomiting 4.regurgitation of milk 5.increased temperature 6.loss of appetite

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1 Severe dehydration 2 Diarrhoea due to Intussusception 3 Diarrhoea due to Meckelâ??s Diverticulum 4 Lactose Intolerance 5 Pre renal Uraemic syndrome 6 Acute life threatening cases 7 Abdominal distension 8 Convulsions
