Intervention1: Roghan-e-gul with kunjad: Orally placebo will be given for 14 days. Hamul of kunjad (5 g) with roghan-e-gul (10 ml) will be kept per vaginum once daily for 14 days Control Intervention1

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Women diagnosed with clinical features of uncomplicated pelvic inflammatory disease (adnexal and cervical motion tenderness, pelvic discomfort, lower abdominal pain, abnormal vaginal discharge, low backache, dyspareunia, dysuria) and other clinical features of uPID (mild/subclinical PID

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Complicated cases of PID ((pelvic or tubo-ovarian abscess) and/or any condition likely to require surgical intervention within 24 hours of the start of treatment.). Women with any malignancy and systemic disease. Women on contraceptive (OCPs and IUCD). Pregnancy and lactation. Delivery and abortion within last three months

Change in modified McCormack pain scale for abdominal tenderness and VAS pain scale for lower abdominal pain and other clinical features (abnormal vaginal discharge, lowbackache, dyspareunia, etc)Timepoint: Follow up of the patient will be done on 8th, 15th day during treatment and one follow up on 30th day without treatment from baseline.
