Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Children evaluated with grade 1 and 2 PEM according to IAP classification Poor growth in absence of other systemic causes Children who has low weight for the age but the height for the age is normal

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Children associated with Congenital disease Inborn errors of metabolism Secondary malnutrition Systemic disease Children who are stunted and wasted
