Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: a) pregnant women >37weeks with gestational thrombocytopenia b) Platelet count ranging from 1, 40,000/dl to 50,000/dl.

| 1. Total leukocyte count in mother to rule out maternal sepsis 2. Neonatal thrombocytopenia will be looked for by collecting blood sample at birth and on 3rd postnatal day. 3. CRP and Blood Culture within 24 hours of life. 4. Neonatal Outcomes: Need for NICU admission and Respiratory support, Blood Pressure, Metabolic Parameters like Hypoglycemia, Hypocalcaemia, Hyponatremia, Hypernatremia, Intraventricular hemorrhage, Periventricular leukomalacia, Necrotizing Enterocolitis and Death.
