Design outcomes
Primary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| To identify difference in gait patterns among patients with early weight bearing protocol and late weight bearing protocol by measuring lower limb symmetry indices after osteosynthesis of proximal tibia fractures.Timepoint: Clinical and radiological assessment at 15th day, 30th day, 45th day, 60th day, 3 month and 6 month post-operatively. Gait and biomarker analysis at 6 months post-operatively. | — |
Secondary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| To study the difference between early and late weight bearing protocol after osteosynthesis of proximal tibia fractures on functional and radiological outcome.Timepoint: Functional outcome at 6 months. Radiological outcome immediately after surgery and at 6 months post-operatively. | — |
