Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Married women above 18 years with regular menstrual cycle Women presenting with abnormal vaginal discharge and/or associated with any of these symptoms such as pruritus vulvae, low backache, lower abdominal pain and dysuria

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Pregnant, lactating and unmarried women Genital prolapse and unhealthy cervix Suspected organic pelvic pathology Patients with systemic and metabolic diseases Patients with syphilis, gonorrhoea, HIV and malignancy H/o OCP use and IUCD insertion within 3 months before enrolment H/o antibiotic use within one month
