Interventions

Intervention1: Ghati Yantra Raktamokshana: Ghati Yantra Raktmokshna at lower back region
four angula above and below Janu Sandhi
Antara Kandara Gulpha sites at 7 days interval for 3 times i.e. On 1st , 8th & 15th day. Follow up will be on 22nd day of study. Control Intervention1: Agnikarma with Lauha Shalaka: Agnikarma with Lau

Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: • Subjective parameters : 1. Diagnosed cases of Gridhrasi with symptoms like Ruja, Stambha, Suptata, Spandana in Sphik, Kati, Prushta, Uru, Janu, Jangha and Pada in order also Tandra , Gaurav, Arochak. 2. Patients of either sex with the age group between 25 and 65 years. • Objective parameters : 1.Sign like Sakthi nikshepa nigraha (SLR, i.e., straight leg raising test positive)

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Diabetes Mellitus, Hypertension, Tuberculosis of spine and hip joint, Malignancy of spine. 2.Fracture related to spine. 3.Cardiac diseases - ischemic heart disease, coronary artery disease, myocardial infarction etc. 4.Anemia (hemoglobin % 5.Pregnancy. 6.Subjects Ayogya for adopted therapies. will be excluded from the study.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Between both the therapies i.e. Ghati Yantra Raktamokshana and Lauha Shalaka Agnikarma which will be more effective in reducing pain.Timepoint: on 22nd day

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Between both the therapies i.e. Ghati Yantra Raktamokshana and Lauha Shalaka Agnikarma which will have minimal adverse events.Timepoint: on 22nd day
