Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Patientâ??s undergoing elective surgery under spinal anaesthesia and with valid consent ASA-1 and 2 Age 18-65 yrs Height â?? 140- 180cms Lower limb surgeries Lower abdominal surgeries
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Patient refusal ASA- 3 & 4 Age 65yrs Drug allergy Compromised cardio- respiratory functions Renal or hepatic disease Thyroid disorders Psychiatric disorder Severe diabetes or autonomic neuropathies Known history of substance or alcohol abuse Pregnant patients Obese (body mass index >30kg/m2) Contraindications to spinal anaesthesia Patients having visual analogue scale (VAS) >6 intra-operatively and were offered general anaesthesia
