Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Age range of 18 - 60 years Both gender Seeking treatment for the first time for alcohol related problems from the Department of Psychiatry, Kasturba Medical College, Manipal.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Person may have alcohol related problems, but primary reason for seeking treatment is not alcohol related Those who refuse to give consent Use of Substance other than tobacco Participants with clinically significant cognitive problems
