Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Women aged 18 to 59 years Resident of the village (i.e. not a guest attendee) Plans to attend Community based organization (CBO) meetings regularly diagnosed with mild or moderate depression ability to speak Kannada Mentally ompetent to provide consent and answer study measures and participate in interventions

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: women under the age of 18 yrs or above 59 yrs Diagnosed with severe mental illness such as bipolar disorder or schizophrenia Suicide attempt or severe alcohol or substance use in the past 6 months Unable to provide informed consent Unable to speak kannada
