Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: School children in the age group of 11 to 12 years

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Children with congenital heart diseases, diabetes mellitus, exercise induced bronchial asthma and renal diseases will be excluded from the study. Those children who are not willing to participate

1.To determine the effectiveness of interrupting sedentary behaviour with daily mile on academic performance among school children. 2.To find the effectiveness of interrupting sedentary behaviour with daily mile on self-esteem among school children. 3.To assess the effectiveness of interrupting sedentary behaviour with daily mile on metabolic syndrome risk among school children. Timepoint: After 3months then 6 months and after 10 months academic performance,selfesteem & metabolic syndrome risk(BP,BMI) will be assessed.Academic performance rating scale.Self esteem using Rosenberg scale.
