Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients of age group 19 to 60 years, irrespective of their gender, religion, occupation. 2. All patients having signs and symptoms of Galagraha i.e. Oedema and Itching in oro-pharyngeal region and also having Posterior pharyngeal wall congestion. 3. All patients having body temperature ranging from 98 to 100 degree Fahrenheit.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients having moderate to high grade fever, having body temperature above 100 degree Fahrenheit. 2. Patients having chronic conditions in pharynx like carcinoma in the pharynx or throat region or in the oral cavity. 3. Patients having chronic tonsillar infection. 4. Patients having systemic illnesses like HIV, Tuberculosis infections.

MeasureTime frame
A clinical study to evaluate efficacy of Mrudvikadi Vati Dharana in Galagraha w.r.t. Acute Pharyngitis. Parameter of efficacy will be signs and symptoms in oro-pharynx and photographs of oropharyngeal region before and after treatment.Timepoint: The drug will be given for 7 days. Patient will be assessed on Day 1, Day 3 and Day 7th of the treatment. Total duration of study will be 18 months.

A clinical study to evaluate efficacy of Mrudvikadi Vati Dharana in Galagraha w.r.t. Acute Pharyngitis to get relief from Low Grade Fever (99 degree Fahrenheit to 100 degree Fahrenheit.)Timepoint: The drug will be given for 7 days. Patient will be assessed on Day 1, Day 3 and Day 7th of the treatment. Total duration of study will be 18 months.
