Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Presence of an active corneal ulcer at presentation. 2. Evidence of filamentous fungus on examination of KOH mount (confirmed by culture subsequently).
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Overlying epithelial defect 2. Impending perforation. 3. Evidence of Bacterial or Acanthamoebal infection or Herpetic keratitis by history or examination. 4. Corneal scar not easily distinguishable from current ulcer. 5. Previous penetrating keratoplasty in the affected eye. 6. Pregnancy (by history or urine test) or breast-feeding (by history). 7. Acuity worse than 6/60 (20/200) in the fellow eye. 8. Known allergy to study medications (antifungal or preservative). 9. No light perception in the affected eye
