Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: pregnant women with or without pre-eclampsia at the gestation of 20 weeks and above

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: multiple pregnancy, diabetes mellitus, chronic hypertension, any other cardiovascular disease, gout, connective tissue disorder, renal or liver disease, history of thromboembolism, history of any chronic illness, neural tube defect and other congenital malformation, patients with oral infection, poor oral hygiene and recent oral injuries, Maternal or fetal indication for iatrogenic preterm delivery

To assess if there is correlation between serum and salivary uric acid with each other and with pre-eclampsia and to assess their relation with neonatal outcome.Timepoint: Salivary uric acid and serum uric acid once at the time of diagnosis of pre-eclampsia ( 20weeks gestation or above) Neonatal outcome at delivery	—
