Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients admitted to ICU under Critical Care Medicine with septic shock requiring vasopressors to maintain MAP >65 mm Hg and lactate >=2 despite adequate fluid resuscitation.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Age less than 18 years or older than 65 years. 2. AKI on renal replacement therapy (RRT) or with an expectation of RRT within 24 hours. 3. Known case of renal artery stenosis, chronic kidney disease defined by a glomerular filtration rate of less than 30mL/min/1.73m2. 4. Cirrhosis with hepatorenal syndrome 5. Use of renin-angiotensin-aldosterone antagonists 6. Pregnancy
