Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Written informed consent for participation in study. Age: 40yrs-75yrs. Either gender. ASA physical status I, II and III. Patients undergoing opthalmic sugeries under peribulbar anaesthesia

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Refusal of consent. Baseline heart rate Hypovolemia with systolic blood pressure Chronic respiratory illness. Difficult intubation. Mobitz type II or type III AV block. Chronic renal failure. Hepatic impairement. Psychiatric illness. Hypertension
