Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Preterm neonates with 1) Gestational age between 31 and 34 weeks 2) Not treated by sedatives 24 hrs prior to intervention 3) Feeding every 2 hrs.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1)An immediate need for administration of any procedures for the neonate. 2) Having major congenital defects or abnormal neurologic findings. 3) Infants on kangaroo mother care (KMC) or phototherapy
