Intervention1: cupping therapy: This group will be treated with cupping therapy, stretching and exercises, 5 sessions over a period of two weeks. For cupping therapy- The duration will be 5-10

Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Both male and female subjects above the age of 18 years, who have undergone either head and neck or breast cancer surgeries with complain of trapezius spasm. 2.Subjects referred for physiotherapy by the consultants. 3.Subjects who have not undergone treatment for the same complaints in the past one month. 4.Post-operative day 3-5. 5.Subjects willing to participate in the study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Subjects with: 1.Metastasis. 2.Lymphedema: grade 2 and above. 3.Open wounds. 4.Active infection. 5.Torticollis.

•Pressure pain threshold Pressure algometer. •Digital inclinometer for cervical range of motion. and Universal goniometer for shoulder range of motion. •Neck Disability Index. •Functional Assessment of Cancer Therapy Head and Neck (FACT-H&N). •Functional Assessment of Cancer Therapy Breast (FACT-B).Timepoint: At baseline and 2 weeks. that is pre and post treatment.
