Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Closed and unilateral femoral shaft fractures
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Initial shortening of more than 2 cm 2. Significant swelling of the thigh and risk of compartment syndrome 3. Other lower limb fractures ââ?¬â?? ipsilateral/contralateral 4. Pelvic and abdominal injuries 5. Polytrauma 6. Neurovascular deficit 7. Metabolic bone disease
