Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: • Healthy subjects both male and female without any gingival inflammation in between age group of 12-30 years with clinical stages of malocclusion. • No history of orthodontic or orthopedic treatment was used earlier. • No systemic disease that could affect general development. • No craniofacial anomalies, muscle or joint disorder.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: • Subjects who have not given consent. • Children with orofacial anomalies. • If there is any history of maxillo-facial injuries. • If there is any history of orthognathic or frenal surgeries. • If the subjects are under any medication known to affect the gingiva.

Skeletal class III malocclusion may be related to the high maxillary labial frenum attachment length and width, in which the maxillary labial frenum might have a tendency to restrict the growth of the maxilla.Timepoint: 8 weeks
