Health Condition 1: M170- Bilateral primary osteoarthritis of knee

Interventions

Intervention1: Exercise condition- Aerobic Exercise - 10 minutes Walking. : Exercise condition- Single bout of 10 minutes aerobic exercise- walking at 50-60% of age predicted Maximum heart rate(MHR).

Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients with Knee Osteoarthritis bilateral or unilateral 1. diagnosed by a Orthopaedic Surgeon or General Practitioner 2. Primary or idiopathic KOA 3. K/L grading: Grade 2 & Grade 3 4. Patients with chronic pain >3 months 5. Patients having pain on VAS: 4 to 7

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients with uncontrolled metabolic disorders: e.g Diabetes Mellitus 2. Patients with post traumatic osteoarthritis or knee ligament injuries or surgeries 3. Patients with Cardio-vascular disorders: E.g Angina Pectoris., H/o Myocardial infarction 4. Rheumatologic conditions such as RA, fibromyalgia or ankylosing spondylitis 5. Neurologic disorder such as Parkinsonâ??s disease, multiple sclerosis or stroke 6. Cognitive impairment, current use of antidepressant or anticonvulsant medication
