Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Age >18 years old 2. Patients with undiagnosed exudative pleural effusion
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Patient not willing to consent 2. USG screening showing multiseptated pleural effusion covering >50% of volume of pleural effusion on USG 3. Patient unable to lie down in lateral decubitus position 4. Disoriented/Un co-operative patient 5. Hemodynamically unstable patient 6. Un correctable coagulopathy 7. ECOG > 2 8. Pregnant women 9. Significant co-morbidities- large pericardial effusion, decompensated CLD, Recent MI (
