Interventions

Intervention1: Panchgavya Ghrita and Takradhara: "Panchgavya Ghrita" in the dose of 20 ml orally on empty stomach for 30 days along with "Takradhara" for 10 days. Control Intervention1: NIL: NIL

Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Patients diagnosed as per the criteria for mild and moderate depression as per Beck Depression Inventory (BDI). 2.Patients with history of depression less than 2 years. 3.Patient who were under medication for depression previously but not using now. 4.Patient ready to sign consent form

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Patient with other psychiatric disorders. 2.Depressive phase of substance. 3.Pregnant women. 4.Patient with suicidal tendency / thoughts. 5.Post schizophrenic depression
