Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Patients aged 18-90 years were included Patients who have been proven COVID-19 positive by reverse transcriptase polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR),and the rapid antigen test. COVID -19 patients admitted between June 2020 and September 2020 Patients above 18 years admitted to hospital or critical care unit and on oxygen therapy, non-invasive ventilation (NIV) or invasive mechanical ventilation (IMV)
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Patients with pre-existing liver disorders. 2. Patients with any prior hypoalbuminemic state. 3. Patients with hematological malignancies, immunocompromised states. 4. Patients with fluid resuscitations where the serum albumin level couldbe altered. 5. patients with trauma,extensive bowel resection,burns 6. Patients with AKI or CKD with possible albumin loss in urine
