Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: All neonates less than and equal to 34 weeks post menstrual age requiring PRBC transfusion within 40 weeks corrected post menstrual age

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Major congenital anomaly 2. Congenital or acquired gastrointestinal anomaly 3. Episode of transfusion in which baby not on enteral feed at the time of transfusion due to other co-morbidities 4. Pre-existing Necrotising enterocolitis
