Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Pregnant women undergoing elective/emergency caesrean section by low transverse incision women undergoing laparotomy by low transverse incision for gynaecological conditions

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Previous scar BMI >30KG/M2 Uncontrolled diabetes melitus Cancer of any type Deranged coagulation disorders PROM Pre existing febrilr illness LOng trem steroid intake Skin infection
