Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: ASA I - IV patients, aged 18 years and above, requiring central venous cannulation for hemodynamic monitoring, administration of vasopressors, chemotherapeutic agents, parenteral nutrition, longâ??term therapy with antibiotics and patients with difficult peripheral venous access.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Patients with rib/clavicle or upper limb fractures, restriction of shoulder movements, those who have undergone thoracic surgeries, patients with respiratory disorders, patients with difficult sonoanatomy (when the vein cannot be visualised under ultrasound guidance), coagulopathy, infection at the site of cannulation
