Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Diagnosis of GBS confirmed by diagnostic criteria for GBS of the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke (NINDS) or one of the variants of GBS, including the MFS and overlap syndromes 2. Hospital admission within 4 - weeks of the onset of weakness (or other symptoms attributed to GBS.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Subacute Inflammatory demyelinating neuropathy (SIDP) 2. Toxic neuropathies 3. Vasculitic neuropathies
