Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Clinical and radiographic outcome of single visit and two visit pulpectomy treatment in primary molar using calcium hydroxide with iodoform paste as an obturating material.Timepoint: Clinical and radiographic outcomes will be evaluated according to the guidelines given by Gutmann in 1992 which used clinical parameters such as subjective symptoms, sinus tract or swelling, discomfort to percussion, tooth fracture and radiographic parameters such as width of periodontal ligament space, osseous repair, lamina dura, osseous rarefaction etc. Score 0 will be given to failure, 1 to questionable outcome, 2 to success. Evaluation will be done at 3 months, 6 months time interval.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Effectiveness of single visit and two visit pulpectomy treatment in primary molar using calcium hydroxide with iodoform paste as an obturating material.Timepoint: Follow up at 3 and 6 months
