Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients with close intra-articular fracture distal end radius 2. Patients above the age of 18 years and above 3. Patients of either gender 4. Patients being managed with internal fixation 5. Patients willing to participate in the study with voluntarily given consent

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Fractures which can be managed conservatively 2. Fractures which can be managed by K-wire fixation 3. Old fractures of the distal end of radius 4. Patients not willing for surgery 5. Infections 6. Mentally-physically unfit and medical conditions that could pose a life-threatening surgical or anaesthetic risk
