Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Subjects with signs and symptoms of Alopecia areata -not more than 1year Circumscribed hairless patches on the scalp and bearded area with normal hair demarcating the periphery of lesions.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients who are not co-operative Subjects having other skin manifestations Patients with siroragas like arumshika Pregnant women and lactating mother Malignancy Psychic patients Subjects on continuous medication like corticosteroids, anticonvulsant, antihistamines etc Subjects having bleeding disorder Subjects who are not eligible for sodhana therapy
