Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Patients with moderate and severe acne vulgaris (GAGS: 19-38) Treatment wash off period for oral macrolides, tetracyclines, isotretinoin > 1 month
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Suspected/ Clinically confirmed hormonal acne Nodulocystic acne and other severe variants like acne fulminans Patients with other inflammatory dermatosis like psoriasis Moderate anaemia ( Any known case of haematological disorder Cigarette smoking Pregnancy and Lactation Uncontrolled systemic illnesses such as diabetes mellitus, hypertension, coronary artery disease, thyroid dysfunction, infection
