Eligibility
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: All consenting adult patients with symptomatic gallstones planned for laparoscopic cholecystectomy in the Department of General Surgery, AIIMS Jodhpur and Department of Gastrointestinal Surgery, AIIMS Jodhpur.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Patients who have coexisting abdominal surgical conditions like hernia etc. Patients who have undergone previous abdominal surgery. Acute cholecystitis, choledocholithiasis, or acute pancreatitis in 6 weeks before surgery
