Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: • Participants willing to participate in the study • Diagnosed cases of stage 1 hypertension (SBP 140-159, DBP 90-99) • Between 45-65 years of age • HTN for atleast 6months • International physical activity questionnaire ( • Patients scoring mild to moderate in Perceived Stress Scale

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: • Contraindication to thoracic spine SMT(unstable fractures, severe osteoporosis, multiple myeloma, osteomyelitis, inflammatory phase ankylosing spondylitis, spinal cord tumor, Pagetâ??s disease) • Spinal surgery in the thorax in the past year
