Inclusion criteria: Patients above 18 years of age visiting the palliative care department having the prescription of Morphine in either of the dosage form or oral Tapentadol for pain management with the diagnosis of cancer of any type. page
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Incomplete case records, Patients who missed a follow-up

| Specific costs and health effects will be assigned to each health state. Effects will be measured in utilities that reflected health-related quality of life. Costs will be expressed in INR and will be calculated from the perspective of the hospital. The main outcome of the analysis are costs per quality adjusted life-year (QALY) gained, expressed as incremental cost-effectiveness ratios (ICERs).Timepoint: Specific costs and health effects will be assigned to each health state.
