Eligibility
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. normal pulp - no signs of pulpitis 2. reversible pulpitis - signs of reversible pulpitis as determined by clinical evaluation methods 3. irreversible pulpitis - signs of irreversible pulpal inflammation determined by patient evaluation, history and clinical tests
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Teeth with a negative response to cold test 2. Absence of apical radiolucency 3. Condensing apical periodontitis, 4. Internal/external root resorption, 5. History of trauma 6. Longitudinal root fracture or evidence of a periodontal-endodontic lesion on the day of treatment 7. Immunocompromised patients and those with systemic conditions 8. Periodontally compromised cases
