Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Newly diagnosed cases of oral and oropharyngeal malignancies who are seeking treatment in the Dept of ENT or Dept of Surgical oncology

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with prior history of malignancy in upper aerodigestive tract, edentulos patients, those lost to follow up or not completing treatment

MeasureTime frame
The degree of trismus is assessed in each patient and factoras resonsible are determinedTimepoint: Before treatment, 1 month and 6 months after treatment

MeasureTime frame
Correlation of trismus with clinico-pathological factors and to determine prevalence of trismusTimepoint: Evaluated aat 1 month and 6 months duration
