Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Subjects (age >18 & <80 years) working as fishermen, Cooley worker, driver, and farmer with eGFR lesser than 60 ml/min/1.732 for more than 3 months.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. History of diabetes mellitus or history of antidiabetic medications or new cases of diabetes (RBS > 200mg/dl) 2. History of hypertension or history of requiring two or more antihypertensive medications 3. Newly detected hypertension as defined by BP > 140/90 4. Self-reported history of renal disease of known etiology such as polycystic kidney disease, renal stones, history suggestive of chronic glomerulonephritis, and congenital kidney disease
