Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. All adolescents who reside in the smokers house, who consent for the study, who themselves donâ??t smoke, who are aged between 10-19 years (Date of Birth between 1/1/2001-1/1/2011) 2. Adolescents who can read and understand local language (Kannada). 3. Adolescents who reside in the houses where smoker smokes inside the house or in the vicinity of the house.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Adolescents residing elsewhere, visiting the smokers house occasionally 2. Adolescents with other serious health conditions / with special needs 3. Adolescents who use any form of tobacco

Reduction in levels of Streptococcus mutans in the saliva of the adolescent pre and post interventionTimepoint: The primary outcome will be assessed at the baseline and at 1 year after the start of intervention.
