Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Age 18-35yr 2 singleton pregnancy. 3.Primi and multi gravidae. 4.GDM diagnosed between 20-32wks

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Pregnant women with : 1. pre-gestational diabetes 2. GDM diagnosed before 20wks after 32wk 3. Age 35yr 4. multiple pregnancy or fetal anomaly, 5. consume medications influencing insulin resistance (glucocorticoids and immunosuppressants) 6. had taken any form of probiotic supplemented foods or medications

The primary outcome is to assess the effect of probiotics on glycemic profile in GDM women (Fasting blood glucose, postprandial glucose , HbA1 c) Timepoint: 0, 6weeks
