Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients posted for elective ENT surgeries who require GA ASA(19) Grade I and I Prior informed and written consent given by the patients. BMI 25-55.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients not willing to be a part of this study. 2. SBP 3. Patients with history of myasthenia gravis, muscular dystrophy or any other neuromuscular disease 4. Patients with history of epilepsy/seizure disorder. 5. Pregnant patients. 6. Severe respiratory disease ,such as asthma, COPD. 7. Patients who are having known allergy to the study drugs.

MeasureTime frame
To measure qualitative and quantitative blood loss during surgery.Timepoint: Measure HR,SBP,DBP, MAP Quantitative and qualitative blood loss during surgery

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
1)Anaesthetic consumption during surgery. 2)To assess emergence of anaesthesia 3)To study suspected adverse drug reactions related to dexmedetomidine and Clonidine. Timepoint: Anaesthetic consumption. The emergence of anaesthesia. Recovery status was recorded on Modified Aldrete scale. The postoperative sedation was assessed with Ramsay Sedation Score. Seven point Likert like verbal rating scale for surgeon satisfaction.
