Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients having scored 6 or higher according to the ACR (American College of Rheumatology) criteria for classification of rheumatoid arthritis. 2. Patients of either sex. 3. Age between 18-65 years. 4. Patients with known but controlled systemic diseases are also eligible for the study. 5. Literate patients; ability to read Bengali and/or English. 6. Patients giving written consent to participate in the study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients with psychiatric diseases 2. Cases suffering from uncontrolled systemic illness, life-threatening infections, or any vital organ failure 3. Cases already undergoing homoeopathic treatment for any chronic purpose since last 6 months 4. Substance abuse and/or dependence 5. Self-reported immune-compromised state 6. Women during pregnancy, puerperium and lactation
