Eligibility
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: child with mild to moderate exacerbation of asthma as per GINA. Those parents who are willing to participate their child in the study and ready to sign the concent form.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Children with life threatning asthma detected by presence of cyanosis or high grade fever. Children with known case other chronic respiratory conditions like TB, cystic fibrosis or other acute illness that would complicate current treatment and response for asthma. if child has taken salbutamol in last 6 hours or if he/she is on acting beta agonist. child not able to perform spirometry. parent who are not willing to give consent.
