Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Diagnosed cases of Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus Both gender Age more than equal to 18 years Presence of any two of the following HbA1c greater than or equal to 6.5 Fasting blood glucose greater than or equal to 126mg per dl 2 hour postprandial blood glucose greater than or equal to 200mg per dl Patients under a stable dose of Metformin for previous 3 months before enrolment but not controlled

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: History of diabetic ketoacidosis or hyperosmolar state within last 3 months prior to enrolment Patients with moderate to severe CKD History of any major cardiac, CNS or gastrointestinal diseased) Any uncontrolled major neuropsychiatric ailment Any history of alcohol/substance abuse/dependence History of acute / chronic pancreatitis Diabetes secondary to pancreatic injury or other types of secondary diabetes
