Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1) Blood sample must be of covid-19 positive patient. This is mentioned on the requisition form and the RT PCR status will be doubly reconfirmed by calling up the ward. And 2) At least one of the following: i) Sample showing blood group discrepancy (Extra serum reactivity) causing difficulty in interpretation of blood groups ii) Sample showing incompatible crossmatch with at least one donor unit in saline and /or antiglobulin phase iii) Sample showing positive direct and /or indirect antiglobulin test (any of the grades weak ,1+, 2+, 3+ ,4+) Blood grouping discrepancy is defined as the situation when the results of forward and reverse blood group do not match , thus giving rise to difficulty in the interpretation of blood group.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1) Sample that was found hemolysed after completion of all the prescribed tests on the sample. This will be assessed by visual inspection as per the existing SOP 2) Inadequate left over sample ( less than 1ml)

They are expected to show positive results At day 4: Type of antibody (warm or cold) and identification of antibody will be performed on the same sample.
