Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients with U/L or B/L chronic sciatica ( > 3 months) 2. Patients not responding to first line of treatment 3. Refractory to analgesics • ASA I & II

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. ASA III & IV patients 2. Patients with known neuropathy 3. Patient suffering from renal, hepatic, endocrine, cardiovascular or respiratory diseases. 4. Infection- local / systemic 5. Hypersensitivity to drugs. • Use of steroids 3 week or less before surgery
