Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients having the following 2 or more risk factors:- Old age (more than 50yrs) Prolonged diabetes mellitus ( more than 5yrs) Obesity (BMI more than 30kg/m2 ) Decreased space between 2 spinous processes Decreased cervical movements

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with cardiac insufficiency Patients with liver insufficiency Patients with kidney insufficiency Patients in sepsis Patients with local anesthetic systemic toxicity Patients given epidural analgesia along with spinal anesthesia
