Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: ïÆ?¼ Male and female patients with age between 20 ââ?¬â?? 65 years of upper abdominal surgery who are willing to participate in this study. ïÆ?¼ Individuals who underwent both elective and emergency upper abdominal surgery.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: ïÆ?¼ Unstable and complicated abdominal surgical patients. ïÆ?¼ Age more than 65 years. ïÆ?¼ Case of chronic respiratory diseases, cardiovascular diseases, neurological conditions and musculoskeletal problems.

MeasureTime frame
Peak expiratory flow rate (PEFR) Before and after the therapeutic interventions the PEFR readings will be noted. The collected data will be tabulated and will be statistically analysed using SPSS. Then they will be compared to evaluate the PEFR changes in all the groups. PEFR changes will be compared and analysed between the groups, and within the groups also. The intervention programme will be given continuously for 6 days in a week. Timepoint: Peak expiratory flow rate (PEFR) Before and after the therapeutic interventions the PEFR readings will be noted.
