Health Condition 1: K054- Periodontosis

Interventions

Intervention1: lactobacillus fermentum and bifidobacterium longum probiotics: dosage
2 grams/day - two times in a day to be applied as a paste all over the gums for a period of 1 month. Control Intervention1: sorbitol: used as placebo in the study . Dosage
2 grams/day - 2 times in a day to be applied all over the gums in the form of paste for a period of 1 month.

Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Subjects with Periodontal pocket depth >= 5mm Type II Diabetic subjects with glycated haemoglobin range between 7% â??10 %

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Smokers Pregnant and lactating mothers People with a compromised immune system Antibiotic therapy during the previous 6 months Systemic diseases other than Diabetes Subjects taking medications that could interfere with gingival tissue responses
