Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Patients undergoing aged 18 to 80 years requiring elective colorectal surgeries for cancer and diverticular disease, and were eligible for laparscopic surgery
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Contraindication to the use of local anaesthetics. ASA :PHYSICAL Status 4 and above 4. BMI:35 KG/M2. Severe cardiovascular impairment. Psychiatric disorders. Necessity of major resection other than colorectal(liver, pancreas, uterus and vagina) Palliative surgeries. Patients who required the formation of a temperorary and definitive stoma. Patient refusal.
